The JB Seed is officially five years old! And to celebrate, this years grants will offer greater diversity and make the program more accessible for artists across a wider range of disciplines.

So, without further ado we introduce… The JB Seed JUMP grant, which has been created to encourage artists to expand their income potential in almost any area they require. The grants of up to $4000 will be awarded to 10 recipients in total with at least 3 of these granted to Indigenous musicians.

JBSEED ARTIST ON HIGH ROTATION ON TRIPLE J

Impossible Odds who were successful in the JBSEED SPEAK: INDIGENOUS grant round in 2007 have had their track 'Laugh it Off' added to high rotation on triple j. Triple j Home and Hosed presenter Steph has also featured one of their tracks on the triple j website - view the Impossible Odds Review click here. The album was also recently reviewed by the Sun Herald giving it an 8/10.

In 2005, John Butler, his partner Danielle Caruana and the JB Seed Crew launched The JB Seed Grant Program to give aspiring Australian artists a chance to fully realise their dreams.
